Make sure your project reflects the theme “Together We Can”.
The student’s name must not appear on the front of your work. Write the student’s name on the back of each page.
The original and one copy should be submitted in a folder with the entry form stapled to the back of the folder.
We have a new, simple entry form this year. Please fill one out for each entry. You can find them on-line to print, www.langranchpta.org/reflections or on the Reflections table near the library.
All entries must be the original and unassisted work of one student. Group projects are not accepted. Your artistic creation must be done on your own; however, parents are allowed to help you with the presentation requirements such as the preparation of the folder and the entry form.
Q: How can a Kindergartner or first grader enter the Literature category?
A: Students in Kindergarten or first grade may dictate their Literature entry to
another person. The transcriber should make every attempt to retain the
original language and grammatical style.
Q: Can I use fancy paper or put illustrations in my Literature entry?
A: Yes, however, the artwork will not be forwarded to the judges. Artwork
cannot influence the literature entry.
Q: Do I have to handwrite my entry?
A: No, entries may be handwritten or typed.
